Independent Consultants & Engineers, Inc. (IC&E) provides Consulting, Geotechnical Engineering/Value Analysis, Construction Materials QC Testing & QA Inspection, and a wide variety of specialty testing. IC&E works on many different types of projects: schools & colleges, churches, commercial structures, manufacturing facilities, institutional buildings, water tanks, historic buildings, residential developments, elderly housing & retail plazas.

Our approach is to work more closely with our clients and/or their design teams to find alternate solutions that may save both time and money. In addition to consulting and testing on new buildings, we are very active in the evaluation of existing structural components and exterior building systems. Often these systems are found to be deficient either from degradation caused by the environment or from improper initial workmanship. Our focus is to identify the cause or causes of distress, extent of damage and recommend procedures to remedy the immediate problem, with long-term repairs in mind. We regularly provide such services to Owners/Property Managers and/or their Design Consultants.
